UPDATE: The East Entrance reopened to traffic around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — The east entrance to Yellowstone National Park (YNP) is closed to traffic due to winter weather, according to YNP.

Sylvan Pass is closed between Pelican Barricade and the park’s east entrance. Dunraven Pass is closed between Tower Falls and Canyon Junction. Both closures are due to “adverse road and weather conditions,” according to the park.

Beartooth Pass remains closed between Red Lodge and Cooke City, Montana.

“Caution is advised for snowy or icy conditions,” the park’s recorded information line said.
