JACKSON, Wyo. — Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities (YTCC) invites community members to join its spring stakeholder summit to learn about regional efforts towards reducing petroleum usage and promoting sustainable transportation efforts in the Greater Yellowstone Area.

The summit will take place on Monday, April 29, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Teton County Library Ordway Auditorium. YTCC will provide lunch and refreshments for all attendees. The event will also feature an EV (electric vehicle) showcase in the parking lot immediately following the summit from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. After the event, people are welcome to join a happy hour at Eleanor’s.

“This will be a great opportunity for stakeholders to meet new board members, new staff and fellow stakeholders,” YTCC said via press release.

According to YTCC, the summit will feature state department staff panelists from Cheyenne, WY, Boise, ID and Helena, MT, to share information about the grant programs they administer at the state level. There will also be local speakers and panelists sharing their experiences with alternative fuel vehicles.

The event will share funding opportunities for projects utilizing alternative fuels, advanced vehicle technologies and efficient transportation options.

“Through the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, numerous tax credits and grant programs have been developed and are open to fund the purchase of alternative fuel vehicles, infrastructure and energy-efficient mobility systems,” YTCC said in the announcement.
