YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — Visitor services and facilities in Yellowstone National Park (YNP) are starting to wrap up another busy season.
Campgrounds, eateries and more are closing up shop on a staggered schedule ahead of the park roads’ seasonal closure beginning on Nov. 1. Some of the facilities surrounding Old Faithful will stay open until Oct. 31, while a number of campgrounds and restaurants have already closed to visitors.
The road connecting the North and Northeast entrances is open year-round, and permitted snowmobilers will be able to use park roads starting in mid-December. The below dates are subject to change at the park’s discretion, and are current as of Sept. 29. Be sure to check the official YNP website before making plans.
