JACKSON, Wyo. — Wyoming Wilderness Association (WWA) is a statewide nonprofit with a mission to protect Wyoming public wildlands through advocacy, education and stewardship.

2024 marks two significant milestones—the 40th anniversary of the Wyoming Wilderness Act and the 60th anniversary of the National Wilderness Act—which permanently protected over 3.4 million acres of public land in Wyoming.

These anniversaries represent decades of dedication, advocacy, and stewardship that have ensured the preservation of WY wildlands. WWA is deeply committed to carrying on that legacy so that future generations can continue to explore, enjoy, and care for places like the Gros Ventre, Jedediah Smith, Teton and Bridger Wilderness areas.

This year, during the Old Bill’s Fun Run giving period, WWA invites supporters to join them in celebrating these milestones by making a donation to the organization. This generous support enables them to continue their vital work and expand their impact. With help from donors, WWA hopes to raise $40k in honor of the 40th Anniversary of the WY Wilderness Act.
