JACKSON, Wyo. — It’s the most artistic time of the year!
The Fall Arts Festival is back for its 42nd edition. While the collection of events offers plenty for art collectors with large budgets, there are also a number of free offerings for those who aren’t necessarily looking to make a big purchase. Learn more about those below:
Palates & Palettes: Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Selected local galleries will open their doors for a community-wide art walk in which participants can sample “thoughtfully paired hors d’oeuvres, wines, and craft beverages while celebrating one of Jackson Hole’s most cherished arts traditions,” according to the festival brochure. The Chamber of Commerce told Buckrail “most of the galleries around Town Square” will be participating this year.
Art Walk and Poster Signing: Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Check out new exhibitions and meet artists participating in this year’s QuickDraw (a ticketed event) at participating galleries. Nab an autographed poster commemorating this year’s festival.
Art Auction: Saturday, Sept. 19, beginning at noon
Watch bidders duke it out for art to add to their collections. More than 350 pieces will be up for auction, per the brochure. Catch the action at Center for the Arts.
Sunday Art Brunch: Sunday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Send off this year’s festival with “brunch bites, Bloody Marys and mimosas” hosted by downtown galleries
