JACKSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has issued alerts concerning weather-impacted driving conditions, alerting drivers to reduced visibility on local roads.

At 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10, WYDOT alerted drivers that Teton Pass commuters should expect reduced visibility, and that chain law level one is in effect.

On WY22, there is no trailer traffic allowed, and a weight limit of 60,000 GVW is in effect over Teton Pass between Jackson and the Idaho state line from milepost 7 to 17.

Roads between Jackson and Wilson are slick with snowfall and roads between Wilson and Idaho are slick with blowing snow. Other traffic alerts in the past 24 hours have included chain law advisories and warnings of black ice on roads.

Snow is expected to continue on and off this week, potentially with the accompanying hazardous driving conditions. Drive safely.
