WILSON, Wyo. — The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) announced that it plans to close another lane over the Snake River Bridge on WY22 this Friday evening, March 7, beginning at 11 p.m.
According to WYDOT, traffic will be carried through the work areas at reduced speeds in a single lane under flagging operations, alternating while crews work. The work will conclude by 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Crews will be continuing the bridge inspection from last Friday.
“We were unable to get all the surveying completed on the bridge deck last Friday,” WYDOT resident engineer Bob Hammond said in the announcement.
Drivers should anticipate delays of up to 15 minutes through the project area Friday night from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and “should be cautious of roadside workers and flaggers,” WYDOT wrote. Unpredictable weather and other variables could necessitate last-minute changes to the plans.
