JACKSON, Wyo. — Who’s ready for more snow?
The National Weather Service’s Riverton, WY, office (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory affecting northwestern Wyoming. From 11 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, snow accumulations are anticipated in the Teton, Gros Ventre, Salt River and Wyoming mountain ranges. Mountains are expected to see between six and nine inches of new snow.
This could translate to between three and six inches of new snow in Jackson Hole, Lincoln County and Star Valley. NWS warns that travel conditions might be difficult during this time frame.
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” the alert reads. “The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening commutes. Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
