JACKSON, Wyo. — Follow-up work on the Snake River Bridge on WY22 will be taking place next week, according to an announcement from the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT).

Contract crews will begin work on the bridge on Monday, June 8. WYDOT stated that the work is expected to be complete within three days, weather permitting. Crews will be applying an epoxy overlay and “welding snow plates on the expansion device for both abutments.”

The work must be done during daytime hours because the epoxy needs favorable temperatures, per WYDOT. Commuters can expect lane closures in both directions during the maintenance work. The epoxy overlay is currently scheduled for day one, and the following two days will be used for work on the expansion devices.

“WYDOT would like to remind drivers to drive safely, put their phone down, and obey all roadside signs and closures,” reads the announcement. For more information on road status and driving conditions, visit the WYDOT travel map here.
