JACKSON, Wyo. — Warmer weather is on the horizon this weekend.
According to the National Weather Service’s Riverton, Wyoming, office (NWS), temperatures in Jackson could reach 50 degrees on Sunday, April 6.
NWS confirms that Friday, April 4, is mostly sunny, with a high near 34 degrees. Patchy fog could roll in around 10 p.m., with a low around 12 degrees. Saturday, April 5, is also expected to be sunny during the day, with a high around 42 degrees and calm wind, before overnight temperatures descend into the teens.
Sunday, April 6, and Monday, April 7, are also expected to be sunny, with Monday temperatures slated to reach a high of 52 degrees.
Precipitation could return next week, with NWS forecasting chances of both rain showers and snow showers. Keep an eye on the forecast as it evolves here. The transition from winter to spring in Jackson can be slow and nonlinear.
