JACKSON, Wyo. — A collision involving multiple vehicles and an e-bike sent at least three people to the hospital on Wednesday evening, according to the Jackson Police Department (JPD).
JPD Lieutenant Russ Ruschill confirmed to Buckrail that at least three vehicles were involved in the collision. A GMC Denali was reportedly making a left turn off of Broadway Ave. onto Scott Lane when it was T-boned by a Ford Expedition. Ruschill said the Expedition rolled over once in the incident.
On top of that, an e-biker was traveling in the incorrect direction in the bike lane and got into a head-on collision with the Denali, Ruschill said.
The conditions of those transported to the hospital were still unknown at press time, and the collision remains under JPD investigation.
Ruschill noted that he conducted traffic in the area for an hour following the crash, calling it one of the worst collisions he’s seen at that intersection.
