JACKSON, Wyo. — It’s not every day one can watch a world and Olympic competitor perform live. However, amazing opportunities can happen under the Wyoming stars at night.

Daniel Samohin, World Junior Champion and Israeli World and Olympic competitor, will be performing two weekends here in Jackson Hole. Due to an earlier injury, he was unable to compete in the Beijing Olympics, making his misfortune Jackson’s own fortune.

Daniel is the first single male to successfully land five quads in a single competition.

The show will also highlight future hopeful national competitors from Salt Lake City. Jackson On Ice, a free community show that is brought to you through the Grand Teton Skating Association, will offer four shows.

The first two shows on Feb. 4 and 5 will occur on the Teton Village Ice Rink at 6:30 p.m. The next two shows on Feb. 11 and 12, 6:30 p.m., will occur on Town Square. As the Town Square Ice rink is celebrating its 10 year anniversary this year. Following the Feb. 12 performance, a celebratory cake will be served.
