WILSON, Wyo. — A major emergency response was mobilized around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, to assist a driver who had veered off of the road and crashed on the Pathway near Emily’s Pond in Wilson.

According to Jackson Hole Fire / EMS Interim Battalion Chief Chris Stiehl, a vehicle traveling west on WY22 left the roadway, flipped over at least once and came to a halt in the trees. The driver was transported to St. John’s for medical assessment.

No bicyclists were harmed in the incident.

The damaged vehicle was towed away from the site. The portion of the Pathway that was affected has been closed to cyclists, who are detouring through the Emily’s Pond parking lot in the meantime.
