JACKSON, Wyo. — Earlier this month, Town Council voted to begin phasing out the parklet program by summer 2027. Community group messages and Reddit threads have had active conversations regarding the decision since.

The decision was to end the program entirely, effectively converting those areas back into 19 parking spots.

While the vote doesn’t end the program on its own, it sets in motion the process of putting it into law. The drafted ordinance must pass three readings at Town Council before it becomes law.

What do you think of the decision? Let us know in the poll below.
