Turnpike trouble on Main, but the beat goes on Laney Jones Will's Pub Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news
Laney Jones and the Spirits

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The show will go on, according to Teton Valley Foundation ED Erica Linnell. “Music on Main” will feature a replacement featured artist but the regular Thursday night concert series in downtown Victor will happen tomorrow night.

Turnpike Troubadours

Last weekend, Turnpike Troubadour guitarist Ryan Engleman announced personal family issues would force the band to cancel all show on the west coast through August 18. The news left concert bookers scrambling for a replacement.

“While our thoughts are with the band, we were obviously quite disappointed at this turn of events,” Linnell said. “We weren’t sure if we would be able to find a replacement band on such short notice that would meet the standard of a Music on Main show within our nonprofit budget. But we have succeeded and we are so excited!”

Laney Jones & the Lively Spirits will play Thursday night in Victor City Park. According to concert organizers, Laney puts on amazing live shows and reflects a young Sheryl Crow, blending her killer voice with bluegrass, alt-rock, Americana and folk.

So, it’s up to Laney Jones to close out the summer concert series tomorrow night.
