JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson’s Engineering Department has shared its plans to repair potholes in the core of Jackson from Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17.
Crews from Avail Valley Construction will begin the street patching downtown and expand southwest from there. Flaggers and traffic cones will be present in active construction zones to adjust lanes and detour motorists around the work. Work is scheduled between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily, weather permitting.

In the construction areas, some driving and parking access might be restricted. Drivers are asked to reduce their speed and obey posted signs and directions from flaggers.
“The Town of Jackson thanks you very much for your understanding and apologizes in advance for any inconvenience,” the announcement stated.
Earlier this week, the town’s Public Works Department shared that between 300 and 400 potholes are filled every spring. The number and depth of potholes this year is significant due to the substantial freeze and thaw cycles that occurred over the last several months.
