JACKSON, Wyo. — This February, the very first Jackson/Teton County Regional Transportation Expo will share upcoming and current transportation projects in various phases of planning, design and construction.
According to Jackson/Teton County, the projects that will be discussed will include Teton Mobility Corridor BUILD Grant plans, WYDOT’s Snake River Bridge construction and Highway 22’s corridor, Grand Teton National Park’s new road construction, START’s Airport Shuttle Pilot Program, Teton County’s wildlife crossings, transportation alternatives for the Northern South Park Neighborhood Plan, corridor upgrades in the Gregory Lane Project and Bridger-Teton’s Forest Plan Revision.
According to Engage Teton County, Expo participants can learn about new projects, comment on existing ones and/or share ideas about transportation needs. Residents will be able to talk face-to-face with representatives from Teton County Public Works, the Town of Jackson Public Works, WYDOT, Jackson Hole Airport, START, Teton Village and others. Public feedback will be received on multiple projects and services.
The Transportation Expo will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 4:30 p.m. in the Jackson Hole Middle School and on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 4:30 PM in the Wilson Elementary School.
Many of these projects will have standalone public meetings in the future; the Expo is an opportunity to hear about many of the transportation projects happening around Teton County.
