JACKSON, Wyo. — All community members are encouraged to attend the next Chat with Council on Wednesday, April 30, to discuss priorities of the Fiscal Year 2026 budget.
The community chat will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. at Jackson’s Town Hall. Community members can also attend the event online via Zoom. The Zoom link for online participation will be shared on Wednesday.
Mayor Arne Jorgensen, Councilwoman Devon Viehman and Town Manager Tyler Sinclair will share main topics of concern for next year’s budget cycle. The Town of Jackson FY2026 Budget recommends retaining and recruiting employees, protecting critical infrastructure, maintaining clean drinking water, community safety and consistent snow removal, rebuilding Gregory Lane, providing allocations to support health and human services and holding onto a reserve account for unforeseen challenges, per the Town.
According to the Town, these informal “chats” allow community members to share input, ask questions and engage in dialogue with Town officials.
