JACKSON, Wyo. — Forget-Me-Not announced this week it will be closing at the end of the month. It marks the end of a 16-year run for the popular thrift store on W. Pearl Ave.

The store will be offering extended hours to 5 p.m. and slashed prices to rid itself of current inventory. Physical donations will no longer be accepted but monetary gifts are welcome.

Proceeds from the store support American Legion Post #43. The loss of a consistent funding source will be missed by local legionnaires.

Owner, operator, and face of the store Millie Parks said she hopes to be cleaned out by September 28 but, if not, that is the cutoff date to get the building emptied for a change of ownership.

“If there’s something you’ve been interested in or have on your wishlist, please stop by as we will be accepting best offers on everything in the store unless it’s already been claimed,” Parks said. “We have a wonderful collection of historic Time magazines, for instance, that have always been ‘good movers.’”

Parks thanked the community for the many years of support and looks forward to her next adventure, whatever that may be.
