JACKSON, WY— Christmas is a colorful holiday — and the colors are so much more than red and green, or silver and gold.
See “The Colors of Christmas” come to life at the Jackson Hole Chorale’s FREE holiday concert Sunday, December 2 at 4 p.m. Bring your family, friends and neighbors to Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church for this short concert featuring holiday favorites that convey the spirit of the season.
“You will be entertained with quality choral music presenting many familiar Christmas carols and a Hanukkah song by our 40+ choir members,” said Choir Director Ron Fabry. “In addition to holiday selections played by our local talent from the Jackson Hole Brass Quintet, the audience will be invited to sing along to traditional favorites.”
Juline Christofferson, Jackson Hole Chorale Board President, said Our Common Ground will be exhibiting nativity scenes and créches donated from the community for display in the Parish Hall for all to enjoy – a display that has become a tradition for this holiday concert. Our Common Ground is an interdenominational group dedicated to promoting through friendship and community service those values we share. The Chorale choir members are preparing freshly baked cookies and desserts for all to enjoy with refreshments after the concert.
Supported in part by grants from the Wyoming Arts Council through funding from the Wyoming State Legislature and the National Endowment for the Arts, Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund, the Center of Wonder Arts for All and the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.
