JACKSON, WY — New to the concert scene this year is Million Dollar Music Fest, a free, all-ages big-stage show on the Town Square on May 26th. The country supergroup, Midland, previously announced as the headliner, will now be joined by three exciting up-and-coming acts.
Adam Warner – After four years serving his country in the United States Marines, this Nashville-based country artist went all-in on his music career and shows no signs of slowing. On June 9th he will make his debut on the hallowed stage of The Grand Ole Opry House. His current single “Semper Fi,” which features Trace Adkins, is nominated for Independent Country Music Song of the Year in 2019. He has opened for country favorites including Trace Adkins, Neil McCoy, Rhonda Vincent and others, has a weekly standing gig at Nashville’s famed Tootsies Orchid Lounge, and has several videos with over 100,000 views online. Santa Poco – This five-piece roadhouse country band based in the pacific northwest has made a name for themselves by writing and singing about rough-and-tumble characters of the wild west. The powerhouse group is comprised of prolific songwriter and pedal steel player Pat McHenry, guitarist Kevin Redlich, drummer Bruce Weltz, bassist Jordan Binkiewicz and smooth-voiced front-man Andy Shofner. Their high-energy set will be packed with fan favorites including their hits, “The Way it Goes,” & “Captain Jack’s.” (santapocoband.com)
Darci Carlson – Making a return visit to Jackson Hole, Darci will bring her highly original and award-winning outlaw honky-tonk sound to the Million Dollar Music Fest stage. Darci first came to the attention of her hometown Seattle by fronting the country rock band Dolly Rottens. From there, after serving as “The Girl” in ZZ Top’s Gang of Outlaws live screen content and documentary footage, she returned to performing music, taking on a more rootsy approach to writing. She’s opened for the likes of Shooter Jennings and Dale Watson, and has performed at venues as varied as Sturgis Bike Week, Farmageddon and Jackson Hole’s own Cowboy Bar. In 2017, she was named the Outlaw Female of the Year at the prestigious Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin, Texas. Carlson continues to gain a loyal following as she crisscrosses the country performing her original outlaw favorites. (darcicarlsonmusic.com)
