VICTOR, Idaho — Teton Valley Foundation (TVF) has found new ways to incentivize athletes to not just increase rink sponsorship but to earn scholarship credit.
Youth Hockey Director Stacey Moore said she is thrilled to share a brand-new opportunity for the 2025/2026 season.
“The Cutthroats Incentive Program is a chance for our players to not only support their team and help with tuition costs, but also to give back to our amazing hockey families,” she said. Moore said she has seen a similar approach work well for her son’s Legion baseball program. “And I believe it can be just as successful for our Cutthroats’ families,” she added.
Moore said the incentive program allows players to take an active role in securing sponsors for Kotler Arena signage, with the potential to cover up to 100% of their season tuition.
“It’s a true win-win, offering valuable visibility for local businesses while strengthening our youth hockey community,” Moore added.
TVF Executive Director Megan LaTorre said the incentive program has the opportunity “to put over $50,000 back into families’ pockets” if the goal of $100,000 worth of sponsorships is secured for the upcoming season.
Players who secure sponsors for Kotler Arena signage will receive 50% of the sponsorship value as a credit toward their 2025/2026 tuition. The remaining 50% goes directly toward maintaining and operating the ice rink. Teton Valley Foundation is committed to its mission of keeping hockey accessible and affordable for all.
