UPDATE 2:12 p.m.: Teton Pass is open to traffic in both directions as of 2:08 p.m. Drivers should be prepared for slush and black ice when traveling on WY22.

UPDATE 11:45 a.m.: Teton Pass is not expected to open for seven to nine hours as of 11:30 a.m. due to winter conditions.

WILSON, Wyo. – As of 6 a.m., Teton Pass between Wilson and the Idaho State Line remains closed in both directions, and the estimated open time according to The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is four to six hours.

Teton Pass was closed this morning at 3 a.m. due to winter conditions and avalanche mitigation. Although the avalanche mitigation has been completed, “conditions have deteriorated” according to a WYDOT press release. If conditions do not improve the closure will remain in place.
