JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County is reminding the public that it is transitioning to a new Geographic Information System (GIS) platform, Dewberry GIS. Users can expect to see the switchover on the County’s website on Friday, June 30, after 5 p.m.
The updated platform replaces the longstanding Greenwood Mapping system.
“We recognize that this is a major transition, and we commit to continuing to deliver the most accurate and timely geographic data to residents,” said Teton County Information Technology Manager Keith Murley in a press release. “We want to make this transition as easy as possible for all the GIS users.”
The Teton County IT team is available to answer questions and receive feedback via e-mail at gis@tetoncountywy.gov.
Teton County also plans to release a survey this fall to gather feedback from the public to examine areas that may need modifying.
