JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County has moved back to the Medium (yellow) Community Level for COVID-19, Teton County Health Department (TCHD) announced this afternoon.

This decrease from the High Community Level is the result of a decrease in COVID-19 hospital admissions in the last seven days while the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population over the last seven days remains elevated.

According to the TCHD, as of June 16, Teton County has averaged 17 cases per day for the past seven days for a total of 119 cases reported among County residents. However, as of June 17, St. John’s Medical Center had a seven-day average of 0.43 patients with COVID-19 in the PCU and 0.14 patients with COVID-19 in the ICU.

TCHD asks community members to review the recommendations that come with the Medium Community Level. Read about the Medium Community Level and the accompanying recommended preventative measures here.
