JACKSON, Wyo. — The number of active COVID-19 cases in Teton County reached a new record high over the weekend.
There were 55 active cases yesterday, according to the Teton County COVID-19 dashboard. That’s a 20-case increase from Friday’s 35. There are now 66 cases today, which ties with July 16 for the largest active case increase in a single day.
The previous peak for active cases was 46 in April.
State Health Officer Alexia Harrist approved a county-wide health order today that requires face coverings in public places throughout the county.
