JACKSON HOLE, WYO - Governor Matt Mead stopped by the site of the future Munger Mountain Elementary School in Hog Island to take part in an early morning ceremony. TCSD#1 officials were on hand along with stakeholders involved in the building of the new school. About two dozen elementary students were also bused to the site to take part in the festivities.\r\n\r\nTCSD#1 Superintendent Gillian Chapman said the event was significant, if not soggy, and a culmination of a long ride.\r\n\r\n"This groundbreaking\u00a0brings\u00a0to a close\u00a0the district's 10-year search for land, and in a mere\u00a016 months we will be opening Munger Mountain to our students. It really unites the community the way schools have been doing for centuries. We're really excited about it," Chapman told Buckrail.
