Representatives from the incident management team and cooperators will provide updates on the fire and will be available to answer questions.

A Type II Team was installed at 6am today. Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team Black with Shane Greer as Incident Commander took control of the blaze that has now grown to 5,241 acres.

Firefighters will continue structure protection and assessing fire effects in communities today. Crews will also continue to build and improve fire line on the south and west portions of the fire. On the east and north portions of the fire, firefighters will look at opportunities to engage the fire where they will have the best opportunity for success while minimizing fire growth.
