JACKSON, Wyo. — The unofficial start to summer in the Tetons is just a few weeks away. Registration for Jackson’s annual 4th of July parade is open now through June 27.
This year’s 4th of July will feature the return of the Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast, The Jackson Hole Rodeo, and fireworks with family activities at Snow King Mountain Resort and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
“Watching the community come together for the 4th of July Parade is one of the biggest joys of my job,” says Director of Events Britney Magleby. “There’s a small town electricity that day – children are ecstatic, businesses & organizations are proud, and everyone revels in each other’s happiness.”
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. and follow its traditional route from the Jackson Hole Fairgrounds, down Glenwood Ave, and pass town square on Broadway, and return back to the fairgrounds via S. Willow St.
The Lion’s Club Pancake Breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. on Deloney Ave and continue to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast can be purchased upon arrival.
Firework displays will be offered from Snow King Resort, the Stilson parking lot in Wilson, and in Teton Village.
