JACKSON, Wyo. — Masks will no longer be required for START Bus riders and drivers, announced the town’s Public Information Officer, Carl Pelletier this afternoon.

The announcement comes after a federal judge struck down a national mask mandate yesterday.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people continue to wear masks in indoor public transportation settings; however, masks are optional on all START Buses effective immediately.

START says that bus drivers and riders are welcome to continue wearing masks if they choose; however,  the public transportation masking order is not in effect at this time.
