START Bus will take the long way home for TV commuters

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – With Teton Pass again and Teton Valley commuters stuck on this side, START Bus announced it will take the long way around this after noon on the return run.

The START Bus Teton Valley commuter buses will use an alternative route to return to Teton Valley tonight, authorities stated this afternoon. The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is indicating that the estimated opening time of the pass is unknown. As a result, the commuter buses will depart Jackson and travel through the Snake River Canyon, Swan Valley, and over Pine Creek Pass to access Teton Valley instead of driving over Teton Pass.

Four Teton Valley commuter buses are scheduled to depart Snow King at 3:45pm, 5:05pm, 5:30pm, and 6:00pm, respectively. There will not be a 7:30pm Teton Valley commuter bus departure from Snow King this evening, instead there will be an earlier departure at 5:30pm.

The Star Valley commuter runs are not currently impacted and will remain on schedule.
