JACKSON, Wyo. — St. John’s Health has welcomed Jim Hunt to the Board of Trustees following a comprehensive public process approved by the Board unanimously.

Trustees selected Hunt among several candidates based on his knowledge of the community and his financial expertise. During Hunt’s career in corporate finance, he has been an investor in high-yield debt, private equity, mergers and acquisitions and managing financial service businesses.

He has served on over 20 corporate and not-for-profit boards, including seven public companies. Hunt currently serves as a Non-Executive Board Chairman of Hunt Companies, Inc., an international real estate investment firm based in El Paso, Texas, as well as on boards of the Jackson Hole Historical Society & Museum and Friends of Pathways.

Hunt received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1972 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. 

He is married to Maggie Fellner Hunt. Jim and Maggie have two daughters who have been enjoying the Jackson Hole area with their parents since 1999.
