JACKSON, Wyo. — The gravel section of Spring Gulch Road will be closed next week for the first phase of construction to ready the road for paving, according to a press release from Teton County.

Riva Ridge Road to Bar BC Road will be temporarily closed from 8 a.m. Tuesday to 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 3-4 for road work.

Construction projects include culvert installations before crews can begin the grading and paving process.

Local traffic to Lucas Riva Ridge Road from the south and Bar BC Ranch Road from the north will be allowed. 

According to the press release, the road will be closed again later in the month for two more, undetermined days.

The project is expected to be completed in early July.
