JACKSON, Wyo. —The annual Town of Jackson and Teton County Integrated Solid Waste Spring Clean Up will run from Monday, May 8, through Saturday, May 13.

The one-day-only yard waste collection at the Teton County Fairgrounds will take place on Friday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Free compostable brown bags are available at the following locations, but are not mandatory to participate in the Spring Clean-up Events:

  • Town Hall (150 E. Pearl Ave.)
  • Town of Jackson Public Works Administration Building (450 W. Snow King Ave.)
  • Recycling Center (3270 S. Adams Canyon Dr.)

Details for this year’s Spring Clean-Up Event are as follows:

  • No curbside pick-up will occur.
  • Yard waste can also be brought to the Trash Transfer Station from 7 a.m.- 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m. -1 p.m. on Saturday. The first 500 pounds are free from May 9-14.
  • Free disposal applies to residential yard waste only. No commercial operations.
  • Attendees of the event should expect to unload their own yard waste at both sites.
  • Dog poo, plastic bags and other trash will be sent home with you.
  • Please separate your materials into two piles:
    • leaves/grass/twigs
    • sticks/branches

Additionally, the Rotary Club will be holding its regular Community Litter Clean Up on May 13. Participants wishing to volunteer for the clean-up are asked to meet at either Phil Baux Park or at the Old Wilson School House 8 a.m.
