YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — The same storms that have been pummeling Jackson Hole with snow this month have created a winter wonderland in Yellowstone National Park (YNP).

On its Flickr page, YNP shared breathtaking photos of the park’s winter inhabitants as well as its snow-covered scenery.

Winter snowmobile and snowcoach access to the park began on Dec. 15. Park roads are mostly closed to regular vehicles until the spring.

YNP reminds visitors that the park roads remaining open year-round are between the North Entrance in Gardiner, Montana, and the Northeast Entrance in Cooke City/Silver Gate, Montana (via Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower Junction and Lamar Valley).
