JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton Pass is still closed to trailers until April 1, but nobody told this guy (or, more likely, he didn’t listen).
Tanner Flanagan captured this video of a Teton County Sheriff’s Office patrol car trying with all its might to pull the tractor-trailer up Teton Pass. It’s an uphill battle — literally — but Flanagan said efforts to clear the road were ultimately successful.
Truckers found in violation of the trailer restriction are subject to penalties of up to $435 and could face additional charges of reckless driving or careless driving. Reckless driving charges could result in up to six months in jail and/or a maximum of $750 in fines.
