JACKSON, Wyo. — The airport shuttle pilot program is in full swing, with the large white coaches visible around town as they transport locals and visitors to and from Jackson Hole Airport.

Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer caught a glimpse of the shuttle bus as it made its rounds through town.

The pilot program began running on Dec. 16, 2023, and will continue through April 14. Unlike some of the other buses in the START fleet, the airport shuttle features large luggage compartments underneath the passenger seating area.

At the airport, information about the shuttle is available for visitors at kiosks like the one below.

Step-by-step instructions guide users through the ticket-buying process and more. A colored pipe cleaner system has been implemented for luggage organization. Each color represents a different stop on the shuttle’s route.
