JACKSON, Wyo. — It was a busy morning on Jackson’s Town Square when the annual Easter egg hunt coincided with a political protest.
Buckrail photographer Nick Sulzer stopped by to see how the two disparate events were sharing the space. Protesters, on hand to participate in the nationwide “No Kings” demonstration against the second Trump administration, waited out the Easter festivities.

Egg hunters moved efficiently, scooping up candy treasures within minutes.

After the kids completed their holiday mission, sign-carrying protesters convened on the sidewalk.

The “No Kings” protest was planned to coincide with the 250th anniversary of Revolutionary War, per the event’s organizers. Town Square hosted a similar demonstration earlier this month, and another focused on public lands in March.
