JACKSON, Wyo. — Since 2016, Hunter Noack has exchanged the traditional concert hall for America’s most stunning landscapes in his classical piano concert series “In a Landscape.”

Last night, attendees enjoyed the sounds of a nine-foot Steinway grand piano on a flatbed trailer in The Woodbury Preserve.

To meet the acoustical challenges of performing in the wild, concert-goers listen to the music transmitted through wireless headphones. During the concert Noack encouraged attendees who are not confined to seats, to explore, wander and roam about the landscape.

Noack will hold another Wyoming performance at the Pontirussa Ranch in Alta on Saturday, Sept. 17. The show is sold out.
