JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Skatepark is open for shredding once again.
The park closed in April to allow for the construction of a park expansion. Known as “Phase Three” of the park’s design, the expansion added 13,000 square feet to the park’s footprint. Dreamland Skateparks designed and constructed all three phases of the park, with the first phase complete in 2001 and the second in 2006.

Additions include a mini-ramp, a Pier 7 style ledge, decks, rails bumps a pole jam and more flat ground expanding the park to 27,575 square feet. The project is part of an ongoing public/private collaboration between donors, the skateboard community, Dreamland Skateparks, Teton County/Jackson Parks & Recreation, Teton County School District No. 1 and the State of Wyoming.
A grand opening event will take place on Sept. 24.
The skatepark is located at 1374 Gregory Lane, next to the Jackson Hole High School athletic fields.
