JACKSON, Wyo. – Silicon Couloir (SC) is accepting applications for their 6 week intensive business program Start-Up Success: Fundamentals this spring to provide students with tools to start or grow a venture.

The program will teach students key business skills, strategies, tools and financial templates in addition to developing answers to the essential questions of establishing or growing a values-based business. Students will join a community of fellow budding entrepreneurs, small business owners, nonprofit leaders, and business-oriented students to build a proven framework through learning and collaborating.

“We’re pleased to bring new entrepreneurs into our Founding to Funding suite of programs with Start-Up Success,” Gary Trauner, executive director of SC, says. “The values-based program has proven to provide students with tools for success, however they might define it.”

At the end of the course, students will also have the opportunity to pitch their business at SC’s Chance Meetings to an audience of entrepreneurs, local leaders, and investors.

The program will be taught by world-class instructors Sandy Schultz Hessler and Liza Millet. Hessler is an entrepreneur, and formerly served as a Proctor & Gamble brand manager, Tufts University social marketing instructor, and Harvard assistant dean. Millet has robust experience in financial and business development in addition to mentoring hundreds of start-ups on strategy, marketing, fundraising, and development.
