JACKSON, Wyo. — Shooting Star’s Assistant Golf Professional, Ben Polland, will head to the 2021 PGA Championship, one of the top four golf tournaments in the world.

In the first round at the PGA Professional Championship in Port St. Lucie, Florida last week Ben Polland opened his scoring with a very strong 4 under par. Over the next three rounds, Ben matched nearly every bogey with a birdie and every double bogey with an eagle.
His final score of 3 under par landed him in 5th place for the tournament, qualifying him for the PGA Championship at The Ocean Course, Kiawah Island Golf Resort, in South Carolina from May 20 to May 23.
The PGA of America has nearly 29,000 members and only 20 of those have the opportunity to compete in the PGA Championship.
