JACKSON, Wyo. — Catch the Met Opera in HD broadcast of “La Rondine” on Sunday, June 2, a presentation of the Grand Teton Music Festival and JH Center for the Arts.

Hailed by Financial Times as “lively and charismatic,” soprano Angel Blue stars as the elegant Parisian courtesan Magda. Tenor Jonathan Tetelman, who “has all the Italianate ardour,” is her idealistic lover, Ruggero, alongside soprano Emily Pogorelc as Lisette and tenor Bekhzod Davronov as Prunier. Maestro Speranza Scappucci conducts Nicolas Joël’s glittering staging, which whisks audiences away to Paris and the French Riviera in the 1920s.

This rebroadcast is part of the Met’s award-winning Live in HD series, bringing opera to movie theaters across the globe.

Music by Giacomo Puccini, libretto by Giuseppe Adami. Estimated run time: 2 hours and 45 minutes, including one intermission with exclusive behind-the-scenes content and cast interviews.

The screening will begin at 3 p.m. in the Center’s theater. Tickets are $25 each, or $5 for children/students.
