JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue got another chance to bust out the side-by-side as two teams responded Monday to a callout in the Willow Creek area.
A man injured after a fall from a horse during a guided trip was brought safely back to town where he could receive medical attention. The man reported significant pain in one of his arms.
Two teams responded—one with a RZR side-by-side and another with the wheeled litter. The man was able to walk across steep terrain to get to the RZR, which then transported him off the mountain.
The SAR team had 10 volunteers on the call, with the duration of the mission taking roughly three and a half hours.
