JACKSON HOLE, WYO — Teton County School District officials say they received a bomb threat over the weekend but an investigation turned up no danger.

An email sent to all parents and guardians of students stated: “We wanted you to be aware that over the weekend TCSD received a bomb threat. Law enforcement was immediately notified. While the threat was nonspecific, the Sheriff’s Office, Jackson Police Department and TCSD administration took the threat seriously. Over the course of their weekend investigation, law enforcement determined the threat was a hoax.”

School officials added that the decision to hold school today was made only after law enforcement determined that the threat was a hoax.
