JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Rotary Club of Jackson Hole incorporated three area high schools during its presentation of outstanding awards for the month of May

Kimbal Bell and Beth Auge.

Beth Auge introduced Summit High School’s student of the month—Kimbal Bell—as a critical thinker and avid reader. Teachers describe Bell as someone who has a critical eye for detail while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. He currently holds a 4.0 GPA. His instructor’s also appreciate his presence in the classroom, his sense of humor, and how he is helpful to others. Bell excels in culinary class. He, apparently, can whip up some amazing pastries.

Dr. Scott Crisp of Jackson Hole High School introduced senior Brayden Gaston as the JHHS student of the month. Gaston was described as an incredibly well-rounded “complete student.” He takes a challenging load of AP classes, provides leadership as wrestling team captain and football team captain, and has had lead roles in school musical and drama productions. Gaston was Judge Carnes in the high school’s recent production of Oklahoma! by the way.

Knight loves learning and she loves to be challenged. Her math teacher described her genuine delight at the connections and applications she is able to make between math and physics. Fulwyler shared how she got to see Knight’s strength of character on a school backpacking trip in October during which the group encountered snow and very cold temperatures. Throughout it all, Knight remained enthusiastic, calm, and positive.
