SUBLETTE COUNTY, WYO – The Roosevelt Fire has been active today with gusting winds. Wyoming Highway Patrol has closed Highway 189/191 from Daniel (MM110) to the top of Hoback Canyon (MM160) due to the #RooseveltFire. Use alternate routes.
Sublette County Sheriff’s Office has also issued a “GO” evacuation order for Rim Station, Rim Ranches and Sargent Lane. Please leave the area immediately.
The fire has grown to 39,283 acres. Four total structures have been lost. There are 720 personnel assigned to the incident with 5 Type I heavy helicopters, 2 Type II medium helicopters, 3 Type III light helicopters, 41 engines, 6 dozers, and 9 water tenders.
