JACKSON, Wyo. — Roadhouse Brewing Co. and Melvin Brewing Company have announced a new parent company, Pure Madness Brewery Group.
In December 22, Roadhouse Brewing Co. bought Melvin Brewing Company. Now Pure Madness Brewery Group will combine these two distinct brands into one unified organization.
“While both organizations will be under one parent company, both brands will keep their identities but will gain benefits like shared staffing and ingredients,” says Colby Cox, co-founder of Roadhouse Brewery Group. “Under the new parent company, Pure Madness Brewery Group will be the largest in Wyoming, which is incredible to think about for two breweries that started off in a garage not too long ago.”
The combination of both breweries, located only 35 miles apart, will produce 50,000 barrels in 2023 and have the ability to grow to 80,000 barrels in the coming years with new investments that Roadhouse plans to make. Among those are a state-of-the-art rotary canning line and the expansion of the Melvin Tap Room in Alpine, Wyoming.
“You get pure madness by combining these two companies and their mantras,” Cox says. “We plan to achieve a lot together and look forward to sustained growth and expanding Roadhouse’s B Corp status into Melvin Brewing Company.”
Melvin Brewing Company has broad distribution across 27 states and multiple accolades, while Roadhouse has gained its own notoriety as an award-winning regional brewery. Both breweries have been staples in the state of Wyoming for over a decade.
