JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Buckrail is passing along a note from the family of Rachel Rafferty hoping friends can make a gathering scheduled for tonight.
“Hello Friends of Rachel Rafferty from Jackson Hole, Teton National Park and Yellowstone! My family and I would like to meet you and celebrate Rachel’s life Monday at King’s Grill at the base of Rafferty Lift at Snow King Mountain between 6:30-8pm.
“Please bring a short tribute (one paragraph please) of how you met Rachel, where you spent most of your time together, and one fond memory or special moment that will warm our hearts.”
Carl Howard will host the evening.
A support group for Survivors of Suicide Loss meets this Wednesday, May 2, and monthly on the first Wednesday of each month, 6:00-7:30pm, Eagle classroom at St. John’s Medical Center.
This peer led group is for family and friends who have lost someone to suicide. You may access the basement classroom through the Emergency Room entrance at the hospital. More information on the group may be obtained by contacting Mark Houser, 732-1161 or by email. The group is sponsored by Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center.
