JACKSON, Wyo. — One of the valley’s free recycling spots will be closed for a short time during construction work.
Starting today, the recycling bins at Albertsons will be temporarily unavailable due to ongoing parking lot maintenance. There is not yet a scheduled reopening. Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling (ISWR) is encouraging residents to plan ahead and use alternative recycling locations at this time.
“We appreciate the community’s understanding and look forward to making the recycling bins available promptly after maintenance is completed,” reads a news release from ISWR.
There are six satellite recycling locations for community members to choose from at this time, not including the Recycling Center on Adams Canyon Road. ISWR reminds people that these bins are for residential use only. Free drop-off bins are located at the following spots:
- At the Rodeo Grounds, near the corner of Snow King Ave. and Flat Creek Drive
- Near the Community Recreation Center, in the northeast corner of the Home Ranch parking lot
- On Spring Gulch Road, north of town, just north of the Gros Ventre River
- In the Aspens, near the Aspens Market parking lot
- In Teton Village, east of the Ranch parking lot in the maintenance yard
- Near Hoback Junction, just north of the Hoback Fire Station
